Resigning Robbie and drafting Brandon Aiyuk from Arizona St in the second would be GREAT

Don’t they have Edelman? Why would Brady want more offensive weapons?

According to this board we don’t need multiple talented receivers, Number 2 receivers are easy to replace.

Adams & Robby are the Jets top two players as of this moment.

The two players that every opponent must account for on gameday.

Who scares opposing defensive coordinators? Slow as eff Bell? Pfft!!

Herndon from his couch? Yeah right.

    Enunwa from IR?

Crowder? Nice player but underneath stuff doesn't exactly make defensive coordinators quake in their boots.

    It's Robby and only Robby.

If we're being honest with ourselves.

It looks like Dallas is going to tag Dak, which means Cooper is going to hit FA.

If that’s the case, bye bye Robby and hello Amari Cooper.

Cooper will sign with Patriots before he signs with Jets.

Why on earth would Dallas do that in a year when Brady, Brees and Rivers could all hit the open market?

    Makes no frickin' sense.

    I hope you're right.

    I'd rather have Robby.

Cooper is a legit 1 in this league. Robbie still hopes to be a high end 2

im not sure of the Cowboys cap situation but when you have a young-ISH type QB, you try to keep them around. And I know Dak isn’t elite but he did put up good numbers. Brady would be one I’d try to bring there. Brees is either NO or retirement and Rivers doesn’t move the needle for me at all.

I saw somewhere that the franchise tag for QBs will be $33 million in 2020. Paying Prescott that much would be insanity.

Brady or Rivers could cost less and IMO would be a upgrade for them.

Rivers is a future HOF QB in his own right. The Chargers are such a second rate organization Eli was right For not wanting to go there.

Just look at how the Giants said farewell to Eli and how the Chargers have moved on from Rivers.

And if they don't he'll go elsewhere and produce like a stud, whilst the scrub they replace him with makes Stephen Hill look like an All Pro.

This is the Jets after all. That's just the way it works.

He's not going to get paid because people think he's a top tier receiver. He's going to get paid because there are so few viable alternatives in FA.

I know this is a Robby thread, but if Cooper hits the market I'm walking away from Robby and throwing extra money at Amari. Dallas is going to tag Dak so I don't know if they will have enough $ to be able to resign Amari for 5/100 (60 guaranteed??)

The reports I'm reading lead me to believe there's already a line snaking around the block ready to sign Robby.

    *lovingly pats franchise tag*

Anderson really found himself in the best free agency possible. He has the Jets by the balls with huge downgrades waiting in the wings while the free agency class is older, terrible or in Amari Cooper's case, only available to a few teams that have the space.
