Any WR that consistently goes over the middle is going to open himself up to alot of potential punishment over the course of his career. Concussions generally seem to be a matter of "bad luck" rather then something the defender, the guy getting hit, or the guy throwing the ball could've prevented. From reading this thread and others though it's clear that a potential injury to a WR is not the only reason Alio wants to "throw away" Pennington.

Maybe it's not this thread, sorry if it isn't. It's all kind of the same after a while, you know? It was today though.

I'm not saying O'Brien ended Toon's career, that looks wrong the way I posted it. But the point being that a QB who throws to a WR over his career, it's going to happen regardless of arm strength. Toon and Coles are both guys who are going to go over the middle and with that comes hard hits. It's not a matter of arm strength. O'Brien had a great arm, Chad doesn't, I don't think it matters when you have a guy going over the middle for a living. So criticize Chad for it, it's going to happen no matter who the QB is.

It was this thread.......... Wow is this argument terminal.

The hate is ridiculous. I can see mentioning his short comings but this is getting to be a hammer to the head.

We all get that you two hate Chad win or lose. We get it. Please try and not ruin every thread where Jet fans are feeling good about their starting QB who currently has played a very good winning season. Do you two get off on this stuff?

yea i really dont understand why people even still talk about this, honestly, theres not more than a handful of ACTIVE starting quarterbacks in this league that i'd take over chad pennington. maybe 8 at the very most.

I missed this thread for a damn good reason, I've been out of it all since I began puking during the game Monday night. Chad, I can definitely sympathize. I was still puking today, for chrissakes!
