don't apologize, thats the very reason I'm glad he's out of here. Not withstanding that we couldn't use a pass rush, but the thought of seeing him in civilian clothes, with his insipid pouting face during the Charger and Steeler playoffs game a couple of years back, is forever burned in my memory. No heart! Atlanta will find that out when he SPRAINS his wrist or ankle in week 12, and misses the rest of the season and the playoffs.

If the Jets OL doesn't get their act together for the Bills, I fear for Chad's health, seriously.

Bills have sacked the QB 10 times so far against decent teams. Any reason to think they will be less productive against the Jets?

Yes, it is asking a lot, but so much of the season hinges on an uninjured QB.

He is already out with a groin injury for another 5 weeks.

No, I can not take credit for that one. It may have been Vision, but I am not certain.

Atleast they were bandaged up and it wasn't left alone. It's always good to be safe. I expect them to be fine by Sunday, and hopefully a great game out of both of them.

This is only the beginning of the worries folks. It's game 3 and Pennington has already taken monster blasts from opposing defenses. His biggest concern should be his OLine and Schott's playcalling. I'd lobby for more 3 step drops if I were Chad...

Just pray Pennington makes it thru the season behind a revamped OLine... As the season goes on, its not gonna get prettier folks..

I think the o-line will be alot better next game. I know the Pats dont have Seymour anymore, but they have Wilfolk and Belichecks got his clever ways to apply pressure to the quarterback. After week 4 I think the offensive line will have almost mastered the pass-blocking but the run blockings another story. Either way unless the Jets line becomes as good as the Colts, Pennington will be hit. I think its more of a Pennington issue than a line issue.

I think I heard a similar story but I rmember it had supposedly happened in a pre-season in 2003. I dismiss it as speculation.

Why wouldn't it get prettier? Do you think our young players are going to get worse instead of better?

No Byz, but things don't happen in a vacuum either. Our youngsters will get better, but it will take perhaps longer than the rest of this season to see it happen. This season will be a learning experience. More times than not, its not a pretty thing to go thru. Rebuilding never is.

While our youngsters get more experience, so will the rest of the league so it becomes all relative. Time is our ally now. Impatience is our greatest enemy. Our oline will take more than 3 games or even a full season to get better. It may well be as good as it gets already scarey a thought as that may be...

    Time and patience.....
