Maybe if our OC decided to put him in and put the QB under center instead of in shot gun with an empty back field every time it is 3rd and 3 or less yards the value of a good blocking fullback and a running game would be evident. Instead, our resident offensive guru has a third and short playbook that looks like it was borrowed from the Pats, Packers, and Colts (pre 2011) and that does not suit the Jets personnel.

Make your pick; and yet Schottenheimer was consistently mediocre throughout his entire tenure as an OC.) On top of that, Jets rushing attack up the middle almost always resulted in 5+ yard gain the entire game. So you dial up passes after passes. If you don't question that logic, then either you don't know what the hell you are talking about, or you are being paid by Schottenheimer to defend him. You can only exploit the Giants secondary if you can block the the Giants front four.
You're not serious with this post are you? He was willing to take the check without actually earning it by rehabing? Total nonesense. Anyone with a brain takes a check for doing nothing. It's actually earning it he wasn't up to. Woody was done. The biggest thing holding this team back right now is Wayne Hunter Greene and our safety postion. We don't have a SB caliber defense even with a better ol and we don't have a running back who can run behind a good ol.
Penny is right on. We got rid of a sure thing RT for a Lamp post and getting rid of J-Co wasn't as bad considering he has been injured but losing Braylon who was his best weapon and had great chemistry was huge and we've felt that loss all season. Doesn't matter what Edwards is doing now, if he was with us things would have played out better.
Actually,i think Penningon makes good sense. Shotty is not solely responcible at all. Hell,Snachez "kills" every play called because he is so uncomfortable in the offrense now. And i'm sure a good part of it is because his recievers and Oline personel have no consistency.
Oh i'm very serious with my post. What I can't understand is how you have no idea what i'm trying to say. When you have an injury like Woody has, the rehab is very intensive, very hard. He wasn't gonna commit to that type of rehab for a minimum vet salary. For what he was making, 3 mill per or so, he was gonna do it. Not for what they offered him after cutting him. Not tough to understand.
Totally watch him and he stinks. No need for an insult. Why, cause i'm not gonna play pretend about the terminator? Richardson used to wreck people. All Conner is, is ordinary. All Rex did was take bows for that pick. All good guy Tanny did was take bows for Burress. At the end of the day, too many bows for average players.
Great post.....Tannenbaum is beginning to look like Phill's Joe Banner, albeit with a personality. But word is out: like Philly, the Jets pay big to FA's but not their own guys.
You don't give anything more than the minimum to a guy who may not touch the field, no matter how good he was for you in the past. Big guys just don't come back from those injuries. We all saw it first hand with Jenkins. Really can't blame the jets there. Its business first. The issue is thinking hunter was the solution. And Conner still needs to develop. Just like all fullbacks do. And he has done a fine job so far. You need to stop huffing glue before you post.
