Yes it is totally unacceptable. But, I wonder how many penalties are the result of the team being tired. They just played monday night and here it is a saturday game....

Herm and Manglorious were 2 coaches who preached discipline to death and we were usually towards the top in least penalized teams.

While I love attacking defense, stripping the ball, Carr Wrecking the QB you have to realize what not to do.

I think the JETS players are probably so excited compared to the last 2 regimes that they can't contain themselves!

This is kind of what I was afraid of with Rex Ryan running his mouth.

Now let me disclaim this first. I love the attack not afraid of anyone attitude, absolutely love it. It is a welcome relief after the lets emote like a bronze statue, taking a solid shit "is a process" former coaching staff. That being said........

For example: When a head coach goes after a retarded, doesn't even know where London is on a map, jag, mediocre LB'er in the press it looks undisciplined. I think it carries over to the team. There is a way of carrying yourself as a confident, cocky aggressive head coach and spouting off at that retard down here is not one of them.

I am not even going o bother with the New England remarks. To use a further example read his remarks about Baltimore. Jesus STFU........

Like I said I like the aggressive nature but sometimes I think Ryan should STFU and coach. The teams play will improve because like it or not they take their cues from the head coach and he looks like he has a wild hair up his ass and is undisciplined as does the team....... my opinion of course.

i was sitting there watching last night thinking yeah theres gonna be alot of penalties this year, i think it goes along with the run around and hit everything attitude that rex is bringing to the team. he will be less likely to try and slow them down.

it will be weird as sperm and mangina really had the guys locked down as far as penalties go. not that that got us anywhere.

it'd be nice if the discipline Mangini instilled for not committing penalties stayed with this team.

Becoming the Raiders with penalties is not what this team needs. Free yards will = losses. Especially with the offenses the Jets will be facing.
