This thread perfectly captured the mentality of the average Tebow fan. Next year, you'll all be on some Jaguar forum talking shit about the Jets.

Peyton Manning had one bad quarter this season, which accounted for all three interceptions he's thrown in 2012. I would say a guy coming off multiple surgeries and a 19 month layoff is entitled to 15 minutes of bad football, but by all means, laugh it up. I understand why you're so jealous.

I never questioned whether the Broncos should've gone after Manning. He looks pretty good for the most part. What I do question is how the same team that supposedly made Tebow look so much better than he really is, is now somehow "holding back" Manning.

I don't believe they're holding Manning back in any way. The defense has some issues, particularly at middle linebacker, and they've been pushed around by three very strong offensive teams, with two of those losses coming on the road. The encouraging thing is they didn't give up in any of those losses, even if they fell short in their comeback bids each time, and the schedule gets much easier from here on out.

The Broncos didn't make Tebow look better than he is, but they were willing to run a high school offense to accomodate his vast shortcomings. Elway knew this was not sustainable in the long term, so he cut bait and landed one of the best quarterbacks in history to replace him.

One thread taken out of context does not amount to a habitual "talking shit" about the Broncos.

Yeah, I know, but maybe he just googled "Broncos suck" and this thread was one of a thousand hits.

You'll probably be on that Jaguar forum too, talking shit about Tebow.
Peyton Manning is about to go 2-4 with the same bad team Tebow went 8-5 with last year and a playoff vicory, think about that.

Haha. I can't believe I missed the hypocrisy of this statement at first glance. So... a Broncos fan who followed Tebow to the Jets forum is complaining about a Tebow fan saying a disparaging comment about the Broncos?

You do realize that you followed Tebow here as well... to talk shit about him? So next year, will you be on the Jags forum talking shit about your ex QB twice-removed?

Do you even know that probably about 1/3 of the posts in the world's only Jets Tebowmania forum are made by Broncos fans who followed him over here?

I've asked that question. I'm a huge Peyton fan since his Tennessee days, but I've wondered how Elway would look if Manning got them to the playoffs, then won one game, and lost to the Patriots? Same as last year.

What have they gained? How would that go over with Broncos fan? Too early to see if that is going to happen, but it's not out of the question.

Actually, this is a better offense than Tebow had. Tamme is an asset to any QB.

Let just say that if the Broncos lose on MNF, at 2-4 they will be in DEEP SHIT. If the Jets win in Foxboro and Tebow has contributions (like today), the Broncos message board will be in FULL meltdown mode.

I'm not complaining. I'm laughing at you people. You're a source of entertainment to me.

I might swing by to see how you tailor your excuses to Timmy's next failure/banishment. It would be kind of fun to see how Team Tebow spins his return to Jacksonville after he spurned those same swamp rats this off season.

So? What am I supposed to do with that grossly exaggerated assertion? Give a shit?

You know what we've gained? Not having to watch a hideous high school offense that puts up a 6-22 for 60 yards effort in week 17, with the playoffs on the line, against a garbage Kansas City team.

But, but, the defense is holding Peyton back and he's still getting use to the same receivers and offense he ran in Indy for 12 years!

I like how everyone is acting that nothing changed except Tebow went out and Peyton came in. This seems to be a theme. Everyone even with Manning looked at the Broncos schedule and said, whoa that's really difficult, they could miss the playoffs.

Things change year to year. That's why the Jets going 9-7 got them a 5 seed in 2009-2010 and them going 11-5 got them a 6 seed in 2010-2011. A fun one is that Cassell went 11-5 and the follow year Brady went 10-6. Sanchez went 9-7 the year after Favre went 8-8.

Things change outside of the QB position guys. Unless Peyton suffers a career ending injury, the Broncos made the right move. You have to jump at the chance to get a potential top 5 QB in the league especially when you have the cap room to offer him a blank check. If the Jets were able to give Peyton a blank check, I would have loved to have him. We didn't have the cap room unfortunately.

Exactly correct good, sir. Tebow helped the Broncos last year coming in at a 1/3 of the season and no time with the 1's, but I don't care who you are outside of a handful of teams you would be crazy not to go after a future HOF'er. Manning has played damn well considering this year.

That being said he and the Broncos have not played great. The biggest concern is the points in the fourth quarter, as both Atlanta and Texans got up by so much they played manning soft not prevent, but soft. He picks apart a soft D with the ding and dunk. When the teams play tight for 3 quarters, he is having problems. They work that out an the have a good shot with a good leader.
