Makes a great point about the piss-poor route run by Robby on that end of 1st half int that led to Pats score.
I still think it was a bad decision. Butler is underneath the entire way. He doesnt have the zip needed to make that kinda pass. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Yeah maybe, but he slipped when he did break. I dont think he was expecting the ball Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
No doubt! On that int he never came back to the ball. He seems to have Jerry Rice ability but lacks his determination and desire.
IDK, Bowles is trying to teach accountability to this team. Everyone knows the league is fucked, but you don't want to develop a team of cry babies. There were enough self inflicted mistakes that they should be focused on instead. Us fans can bitch all we want though. Fuck the refs!
Several things here. First, Robby still needs to get BIGGER & STRONGER. He loses too many contested balls and he can't out muscle more mature CB who are just physically larger and stronger. Its good he has the speed, but it becomes problematic on contested passes and being pushed around. Second, He should have had his ass in the weight room all winter putting on upper body strength. I got a membership to Planet Fitness I'd be happy to lend him this offseason.
I like what I've seen from Morton this year, but he set the foundation for this loss. We should have gone into the half riding high, up 17-7. But for some absurd reason, he calls an assine pass on 2nd and short from the Pat 40 when we should be eating the clock so Brady has no time. Instead ... Hands to the face ... back us up ... throw an INT ... go into the half 14-14. The entire first half down the toilet. UNFORGIVEABLE.
I like him as is. A speed guy we havent had in a long time. Think djax. What we need to do is use him to his strength. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Not when the cb is underneath all the way. It was a bad decision by McCown. There was no room there at all unless that ball is uncatchable. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
"the call" aside.... and I think they would have won actually without that the worst part of the Jets day I think was the defensive line work. Ealy did some yeoman work but aside from him our supposed best players just weren't making any apparent headway against what was/is supposed to be a vulnerable Oline.
Disagree. That pass could picked off because they kept running the same route on that drive - that might have been the third one in a row.
ok the next time Robby fights back to the ball will be the first time we've ever seen it. Dude is an actuary masquerading as a pro football player. He's fast as fuck, so for the 2, 3 times per game where you can blow the top off the defense, he can be a weapon. Other than that, the man is a decoy.
Wilkinson frequently stood tall and played pat a cake with opposite number, I don't think he moved anybody backwards until the clothesline tackle and the way the refs had been I'm shocked a sodding flag never went down for that as well.
