    No. An accomplished guy to go in the slot. that also weakens a division rival, that is implementing a new offense and will need to go underneath.

    i think theyre making these moves with plans on going defense with their first picks.

    two first rders will make the aging LB's almost obsolete witht he recent thomas signing.

    plus theyre also trading for welkers contract which im sure is very cap friendly.

    for a 2nd rder its retarded since welker is only worth a 3rd at best. but he is a player who will upgrade the pats and as I said these moves are much easier to make when you feel youve nabbed missing piece of the super bowl puzzle with Thomas and having two first rd picks to bolster some legit depth.
