Look it up. Peyton has Brady beat in virtually every category both years, plus has the better career numbers as well. In 2012 the Patriots running game was a big part of that offense. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/2330/tom-brady http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/1428/peyton-manning They lose to the majority of playoff teams? They crushed Philly, split with San Diego, swept the Chiefs last year. In 2012, they swept San Diego, beat Baltimore (super bowl champs), beat the Saints, and Bengals. I know the Saints and Chargers weren't playoff teams that year but they were better than their record for sure. Anyway not counting the chargers and saints in 2012, their record against playoff teams is 6-6 (and 2-2 post season), so they do not lose to the majority of playoff teams, plus in 2012 2 of those loses were at the very beginning of the year when Peyton was fresh off neck surgery and didn't play for an entire year. And, your argument just lost all its credibility. Have you ever seen Peyton read a defense? He's one of the best in the history of the NFL at doing that. Eli doesn't come close. Yeah he's got one more ring, but one of those is purely because of his defense. Again, I admit that the Patriots will be better THIS year, but it's really close. But the last 2 years they were definitely not, and Brady goes down in the playoffs just as much as Manning does.
