    31-10 JETS

Plax comes away with 2 TDs and Brady gets knocked out of the game by Maybin in the 3rd Qtr. :metal:

Ahh, nothing like a prediction thread to get the good vibes rolling...

I think the jets will run the ball effectively, setting up the pass against a banged up pats secondary. Jets win 27-23

It's been 9 years since the Patriots have dropped three straight.

    They're due.

Jets 21, Patriots 20. They go into the half tied at 14. Pats get two 2nd half FGs to take the 20-14 lead, and then a critical turnover leads to the Jets getting 7 to win the game.

    You guys take this round...

24-21, with Folk kicking a 54 yard FG with 3 seconds on the clock. :jets:

Agree with this for the most part, but I'm obligated to admit that if we just absolutely slaughter them a la the Jag game, I WILL be happier than a regular win.

Same here. If we had pulled out a win in the first game I would be happy for a sweep regardless of what we win by. Being that they've already beaten us this season, I'd be much happier with an all out massacre at home. They need to start asserting some dominance in this rivalry...

I think the Jets will play well, but I just fear the Pats having a big bounce back game

    Pats 24
    Jets 20

We don't have the same pass rush that the Steelers and Giants have. I think they will be able to move the ball enough to score a couple TDs & our offense will have a turnover that will set them up, with short field, for another. Late FG will make it a 4 point game.

Jets 26, Patriots 24, we win on a last minute field goal.

Jets totally dominate the pats all game, in fact we man handle them, but bad officiating keeps the pats in the game with several pass interference and holding calls that were horrible calls.

Also 1 touchdown taken away from the Jets on another bad holding call.

I think Jets Fans are getting a little carried away about Brady playing "bad". The Steelers and the Giants have the top pass rushers in the league which is what really disrupted Brady. The Patriots have no running game, and when you are one dimensional against either of those teams its hard to beat them. I'm not saying we can't or won't get to him, but I think everyone on this site and all the expert analysts are getting a little carried away with Brady's past performance. I say we are still going to need to score more than 21 points to win this game.

That, really is my BIGGEST worry.

We try to make up for it with a great secondary...but can we really get this done without a good Pass rush??

did we not get to Brady in the first match up or was it just my imagination? The Jets do have a good pass rush and will get to Brady a lot like they did in the first game. Stop worrying everyone and this time around we'll have Ellis to help.
