Why don't you have the balls to say the Jets are ranked 11th in total offense and the Pats are ranked 13th? Going by that I guess the Jets offense must be better right? Face it, the Jets offense is pretty good. The Pats are better, but the Jets aren't miserable on O like you make it out to be. New England's defense on the other hand...
Pats have won 25 straight home games (though the Jets ARE great on the road) Jets won the 1st game LAST year too (2nd game of the season) but the Pats beat the Jets pretty good in round 2, week 11, by a score of 31-14, picked Sanchez like 5 times. So stop with "The Jets already beat them once this year", it means NOTHING. Both teams were different back then. We'll see tomorrow night. It should be a good one. I hope nobody gets injured so both teams can keep playing strong the rest of the year and maybe get another shot at each other in the playoffs (HOPEFULLY AT GILLETTE !)
What kind of Patriots fan are you? It's one thing to be a bandwagon fan but Jesus Christ bro get your facts right. The Patriots have NOT won 25 straight home games.
***Not counting loss they had last year in the playoffs, which somehow NEVER gets mentioned in their 'winning streak". I know- 'regular season games'. Selective memory. They choked in a big game in their house. They can do it again.
I don't understand the mentality of people who seem to want approval by talking heads on tv to make their fandom worthy. Who cares what any of them think? Put it this way, would I feel better or worse about the Jets' chances tonight if it were the other way around? I would think it would make not difference whatsoever. Who cares?
There is no "Jet hate" here - the Pats are playing well, the Jets have not looked great, they have just had a major injury, and the game is at Foxboro. Any so called expert would pick the Pats.
I think its great. Jets have no chance, so they have no pressure. Let it all hang out, even with a loss they're 3 games up in the WC race.
Correction. Pats have won 25 straight regular season home games. One UGLY loss to Baltimore right after Welker blew out his knee. Either way the Pats are TOUGH at home and very rarely lose there (or anywhere else). Could they lose tonight?? Yep. Will they? Probably not. Last game the Jets got good pressure, had a strip sack and Brady threw 2 picks if I remember right, but that may be due to the fact the Pats threw to Moss about 10 times. Each throw to Moss is deep, so the protection has to hold up for a long time. With the dink & dunk, Brady gets rid of the ball MUCH quicker. The Pats ARE a better team without Moss Again, I just hope nobody gets injured on either side so they can possibly meet again at some point in the playoffs. Maybe the AFCCG in Foxboro for the tie breaker and the right to play in the SB
Stepping back a bit from the personal, it is interesting to consider the net effect of home field advantage. Other than the embarassingly awful performance by the Pats in the wild card game last year, we must concede they have otherwise played extremely well at home of late. And that probably has a good deal to do with why so many talking heads are picking them. But two thoughts... The Jets continue to play well on the road. I don't have the absolute numbers, but it's not just since Ryan got here, it seems for several years now the Jets seem equally at home on the road. You ge the feeling even more so with Ryan that they almost prefer going into the opponent's home and beating them. Another thought is that streaks are meant to end. They don't go on forever.Look at SD yesterday - we never lose in December! Their fans so bought into that crap, they looked even more stunned than otherwise when the Raiders beat the crap out of them. Funny how their streak meant nothing when another team came in and was more physical and made fewer mistakes (penalties aside, but it still was the Raiders). In fact you almost sensed it got in their way. Resting on their rep and the streak certainly didn't help when it was clear Oakland was not impressed by it. So yeah I give NE credit for their recent success at home. Against the Jets tonight, though, I don't think it will count for much.
lol. so if they're not cheating, or matt cassel played, or they lost in the playoffs it doesn't count according to pat fans
SD and Indy at home I can see.... But Miami OVER Cleveland? Delhomme is hot garbage, but so is Henne.
You patsies have an obsession with balls, hey I have a serious question; is tom Brady really a guy. Everything he/she does is like a chick. Have you checked his dong region? Either he has a microscopic wiener or it's a pussy. Being that he/she act like a chick and plus he/she endulges in many penis's it may be a chick. Jets please don't get beat by a chick.
