    Well if any Jets QB helped us win 3 SB's I'd be a {insert name here} apologist too.

    I don't know if that was the case but I think a lack of a serious run game as well as a battered Brady and a couple of players who even though have been quiet for a while still were not happy with the situation. The Pats IMO are at a crossroads. Obviously there is some dead weight that is going to be thrown away but I question Moss's desire (regardless of what Belli says) and if the men in charge can rebuild the franchise without many of the key players. (Seau may retire a Pat but he was never a Pat) . No Vrable, No McGinest, No Vinitieri, No Bruschi, No Troy Brown, No Pioli, No Crennell and No Weis has taken it's toll. I still think the Pats will be a force in the AFC East but I'd have to think the the Colts are on the cusp of their own dynasty run.
