All you're saying is that we need to wait another decade for the Patriots to not be called a Dynasty? Just wait til they bridge the gap? Those Yankees were called a Dynasty in retrospect. You're assuming the Pats bridge the gap with some championships. I'm not. I see what the Patriots are trying to do, but I have seen what Belichick has tried to do in recent years and it's not as effective as Pats fans want to believe.
I think we're arguing about when the Patriots dynasty ended. Saying they've been crumbling since 2004 on is just wrong imo. I think the 2007 season is a good an end point as I can think of. I don't think they've been the same since. I think they'll be competitive as long as Brady can play well but my expectations are more hopeful then anything else. All I'm saying is that NFL dynasty's do tend to dominate the game over a period of time. NFL teams are not going to rip of 5 or 6 championships in a row. If they win 2 in a row it's a big deal.
