The D has looked very good, I've said this a number of times now, but you need to relax on the best D in the league crap. It's only week 2 and one of the teams you faced has a garbage offense.

I know it's really exciting for Fins fans to get off to a good start because you usually don't do that, but you sound silly with these "best d in the league" comments in week 2.

Odrick may be back, 50/50. Alama-Francis should be back, as he was out because of illness, Crowder...... I hope not, Carpenter played llights out yesterday, and was fling around, and Jason Allen has pretty much taken over at CB with 2 INTs (Really 3, one taken from him....penelty)

I respect your keeping things above board, but I have an issue with this. I think they faced TWO teams with garbage offenses. The Vikings MAY improve later, but the Vikings the Dolphins beat yesterday has a 40 something year old starting QB who took about 6 snaps in the preseason and had 1/2 a wide receiver yesterday. I judt don't think the Vikings are a legitimate offense right now. Like I said, they may improve, but that's a shit offensive team Miaimi played.

I will, however, concede that I like Miami's secondary. I'm shocked that I'd read somewhere Sean Smith had fallen out of favor because I still think that kid will be a star.

Their receiving corps is knocked up which hurts but they have a dominant running attack and a future HOF QB who played lights out last season at 39 years old. The Vikings offense hasn't looked great yet, but that was a good win for Miami and they shut down at least a respectable NFL offense.

The Bills offense is a joke.

You're right, my bad. You need to stop saying the Fins defense is better than the Jets based on stats from two games. The same reasoning applies.

Why do people always post about the dynasty beginning to crumble? The Dynasty has been over for 5-6 years... This is a completely new team minus maybe 4-5 players (Brady, Light, Faulk, Neal are only ones i can think of)

Patriot's are just another team in the hunt every year like everyone else.

Oh I agree 100% and that's the general feeling up in New England. The defense is what it is, a young D learning each game. They are going to give up more points then usual but the offense has to do it's part and keep up the pressure on the other team.

The first half was a "typical" Jets/Patriots. A tough game but the Patriots moved the ball pretty well despite that and had a lead. Ok not perfect but I was ok.

And boom that was it. So I hope it isn't some magic scheme by the Jets to keep the quick outlets in the middle clogged (hence the forcing of throws to Moss) or the rest of the league is going to copy that damm quick.

It's a loss and no team looks that good when they lose. And the season has just started. If they lose to Miami in the same way (i.e. making Henne look like Johnny U) then I may hit the panic button but not yet.

You do remember 2007 don't you? If not for the freak catch of the century the Pats go 19-0. So, at best you could say 3 years.

Dynasties are built on championships, not championship losses. I never hear people talking about the Buffalo Bills dynasty of the late 80s/early 90s. One loss is only one loss unless it's the one that ends your bid for a Lombardi.

I did not see that 2nd half coming. Props to Sanchez and the Jets for taking it to the Pats!

Two imperfect really good teams that should get better. Gonna be a great race!

And the Ravens defense can make a QB look just like Sanchez did Monday night. Neither means anything but if you must go overboard on what happened Monday then you might just as well go overboard on what happened yesterday. I assume you play them this year too. They may make Brady look even worse than Sanchez did. We only lost to them by one point.

Also, the Ravens have not allowed a TD this season. They've played against two playoff teams.

Their defense could be the best this year, and they are doing it with a shit secondary. Ray Lewis looks like he's in his 7th year, not 15th.

I give the Jets props for bringing it the 2nd half, especially on offense.

Defensively, the Patriots stopped themselves almost as much as the Jets D did. Brady had time, yet kept trying to throw over the top when he was picking them apart the first half. That 2nd half rates up with Brady's worst since I can remember. Right there with a couple of his early games against the Phins and Broncos.
