Okay, somebody else had already pointed out that it was a Maroney quote. You think I should have read the whole thread before posting in it?
Yep...it's great that everyone's all pcyched up...but it's a long season, and funny things happen along the way.
The jerk off losses (see the Dolphins games, the Jaguars one, the Bills one, and the Falcons one) have to stop. One can be tolerated, but five was obscene. The Jets have to get the 1 or 2 seed, otherwise the regular season will have been a letdown. I'm sick of this 9-7, 10-6, qualify for the playoffs in Week 17 shit. Get the 1 or 2 seed.
Me too. I think that's probably because it's spot on, I hadn't realised that that's exactly where I'm at as well.
Is Maroney still trying to figure out how to stop dancing and hit the hole hard? He should STFU until he becomes a quality NFL runningback instead of JAG.
First up, caps can be useful when used properly. Secondly, not sure why my comment about the Pat's and fin's trading season's with us is 'over the top', considering we played in the AFC championship game and the Pat's were destroyed at home in their one playoff game. Not to mention the fins didn't even make the playoffs. But, whatever man, if you think 'winning' the division carries more weight than actually winning 2 road games in the playoffs, that's your choice...
They put a good ass-whipping on us last year. It was embarrassing ... and there's no way I'm sleeping on them. I have very little concern about the Dolphins ... we're much better and I expect to kick their ass twice. I have to confess ... as long as they have Brady, Moss & Welker the Pats concern me.
The quote is from Laurence Maroney, and I don't see how this proves anyone is ticked off. All they said is the game is played on the field.
I hope the Jets sweep the pats this season it has been a long time since we swept those bastards. It sure would feel good to clear that hurdle this year. Go! Jets!
They have been a bit since 2007. However, I think they're gonna start back up the hill soon. It just depends on how quickly it happens. Lots of their young guys look like real players. (Spikes, Edelman, Butler, McCourty, Mayo...) I think the Jets on paper are better than the Pats going in... but Ryan is gonna have to keep his team together. If he does, the Jets are probably the team to beat in the AFC. It's gonna be fun....
