i look at it this way. i chose to be a jets fan many years ago. i cant just up and be a fan of another team because the jets arent doing well. i chose to hate the dolphins long long ago. in the same way i cant leave the jets i cant go and not hate the dolphins now because they havent been very good and another team has. its like bandwagon hating, i just cant go from one team to hate to another on a yearly basis. my hatred for the dolphins is deep rooted in aj duhe and uncovered fields and duper and clayton and reggie roby and dwight stephens and the fake spike and jason taylor. its not something i can just get over.
Dolphins. The Patriots are annoying as hell, but I respect how good they've been even if I hate their guts. But the Dolphins............they've been there forever. It's pretty close, but I absolutely hate the Dolphins more.
Pats, no doubt. Dolphins irritate me sometimes but I don't hate 'em...and I just feel pity for the Bills.
The Raiders will always be my most hated team followed by my hate toward Leon Hess and now Woody Johnson.
I started watching the team seriously in 96. Hated the Dolphins and will always hate them. They play us tough no matter who's on their team. But as of now the Pats are my most hated team. Hope they go down today.
I'm with you guys. Hated Miami my whole life, only hate the Patriots for a few years, and as you said, I learned it recently. I used to laugh at the Patriots, they were so bad for so long. Went up to that horrible stadium for a game once when they were the dregs of the NFL, and we lost 24-3. I remember walking out and saying "you aren't bad until you've been ridiculed by Patriots fans". But Miami hate started early and has been cultivated.

I grew up hating the Dolphins - A.J. Duhey, the mud bowl, Marino, Shula. It's burned in my brain to hate them.
I actually feel sorry for the Bills because their organization is so pathetic that it may actually be worse than the Jet's organization. They had a few good years and blew every opportunity (4 SBs in a row) and they've done nothing since then. It's difficult to hate them in the same way it's difficult to hate a battered woman. You just have to feel sorry for their fans.
Growing up it was the Dolphins. The Pats hate over the past 10 years has grown to the point where I legit HATE them, but it's hard to mask the pure HATE of the Dolphins. So I'd say both, but right now, the Pats have the margin.
I voted for the Patsies, but have hated the Dolphags way before my hatred for the Patsies evolved. Between the champagne drinking aholes every time a undefeated team loses all the way back to the A,J. Duhe, Shula and that mud bowl!
You better hope Woody sells the team then. IMO, the Jets are in serious jeapordy of becoming the annual cellar dwellers of the AFC East. Poor management.
