Yes, lets listen to what Tom Brady's agent has to say on the matter. I mean, why would Tom Brady's agent lie when he claims the report is wrong??

Also, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company says smoking cigarettes is harmless as well.. why would they lie?

Well it's not if it's only him saying it.

He kind of confirmed what Brady Senior said so maybe we ought to give it more credence.

He should get a raise! He did a damn good job getting Brady's ball soft enough for his liking!!

Ha well idk if he did a good enough job since Brady kind of played like shit in the first half. You could make the argument that since he had to blindly deflate them in a rush in a bathroom on the way to the field that he could have actually made them worse for Brady than they would have been within the acceptable level, some of the balls were delayed to mid 10psi.

Rich Eisen made a good point earlier, I guess it says in the report that there were people in the referee room watching the pregame festivities on the television there during the time that McNally came and took the balls, it may have been his normal routine to take his time doing it there before he took them to the field but he had to think fast and probably ducked into the bathroom to do it out of desperation

I know this isn't a big deal but how many times have the Patriots been suspected of cheating and how many times has that occurred when they played the Jets? We play the Pats harder then any team other then the Ravens. Kind of makes you wonder ... all of those close loses ...

    - Spygate
    - Deflectgate

    Jets were victims of both

I disagree that it isn't a big deal. Systematic cheating is a big deal regardless of whether it can be debated the extent of the advantage gained by the cheating.

A football travelling close to 60 MPH at 600 rpm...that little bit also makes it easier to catch. And for a back far easier to hold on to.

The pats lost 1 fumble rushing last season. And that was by Buck Frady.

    Coincidence?

so why couldn't Ridley hold onto the ball? maybe we should cut him now as w/ properly inflated balls he will fumble every time.

    its a valid concern.

He's probably played with legal footballs very few times since LSU. It's kinda like Green-Ellis, who had a fumbling problem in college and then NEVER fumbled in NE, went to Cincy and reverted back to fumbling once he had to play with legal balls again

    fumbles lost:

    Antowain Smith-
    non NE 12 in 1063 attempts. 1 every 88.6
    NE 6 in 21 attempts. 1 every 120.2

    Corey Dillon-
Cincy 12 fumbles in 1865 attempts. 1 every 155 attempts
    NE 7 in 753 attempts. 1 every 107 attempts

    Sammy Morris-
    non NE-4 in 402 attempts. 1 every 100.5 attempts
    NE 3 in 334 attempts. 1 every 111.3 attempts

    Danny Woodhead:
    non NE- 2 in 136 attempts. 1 every 68
    NE 1 in 250 attempts. 1 every 250 attempts

are any of the #s that crazy w/ and w/o NE?

Whether thats from the deflated balls or not its pretty hard to ignore the difference. I'm just tired of hearing Pats fans say BB stresses ball security like every other coach in the league doesnt do the same.

Anybody who thinks this was the first time the Pats done this is a fool. I'll bet this been going on for a while.

First take out Smith and Dillon since they played for NE before the 2006 rule change that Br*dy pushed for where he had control over the balls.

Now Morris, make that 8 fumbles pre NE, 1 every 50 attempts and 4 with NE is 1 every 84 attempts
Less fumbles per attempt with NE, same with Woodhead as was the same with Green-Ellis

So every Pats RB since 2006 has less fumbles per attempt when they come to play in NE and forget everything about ball security again when they leave?
