Yeah, it is...a football traveling at 55 MPH @ 5-600 rpm, is easier to grip coming out, and easier to catch going in...Not quite stickem but it matters.

Personally,I think there should be no team specific balls. there should be a bin of kickers balls, and throwing balls non team specific.

    problem solved.

There can't be for certain statements without film, I bet the Pats could provide all the film we wanted on anything we wanted it for. They are good on filming things.

That's not a sound argument at all. Whether some QB's prefer it inflated differently doesn't mean Brady doesn't receive a benefit from having it underinflated. All QB's aren't identical and thus they have different conditions that benefit each other.

teams have been cheating since the beginning of the sport. teams will always look for an edge.

the hard hitting days are over, they cannot celebrate those kill shots anymore. it's a different world and they are scared b/c of the lawsuits. I don't think they truly care about player safety but they care about being sued.

You're probably right. And that's probably exactly what the league will do. It's a completely ridiculous argument, though. The standard of proof in most civil (non-criminal) proceedings is the preponderance of the evidence. In other words, the evidence must establish that something more likely than not happened. That's all it takes. There should be no need at all to establish proof beyond a reasonable doubt here.

Furthermore, the fact that there is evidence that key people, like Brady, were permitted to not cooperate is mind-blowing. I've never been one that thought this was that big a deal, but he really comes out of this looking bad.

I doubt anything will happen to Brady, I don't see how the NFLPA is going to let anything happen without conclusive evidence ("Probably" isn't going to cut it).

The team will get fined and/or penalized draft picks like last time, because the team has no recourse against the league.

I took a peek earlier and I saw one nut make the claim that Kraft/Belichick/Brady should all sue the NFL for "defamation of character" LOL

You don't see how making a ball easier to catch and hold onto isn't an advantage? yet w stickem, which does that very same thing, you do?

Even if there is nothing done to Brady we still win because he will get the same reception Arod does when he goes on the road, it just won't be the same as it is when you come to bat but you can bet he won't like it one bit.

Yes, and with those gloves and a deflated football I could catch balls way easier. They should make the gloves illegal just like they do playing with deflated footballs.

the balls were not deflated where you could squeeze them, they were very slightly underinflated.
