They do. Just because the Ravens are incompetent doesn't mean it was a lasting advantage. The Patriots lined it up against the Colts who easily covered it. The Ref announces eligible and ineligible players before the snap.
Not to mention the refs can't even handle it. I forget what specifically went wrong, but the Pats fucked up reporting on the Solder touchdown and it should have been a penalty that the refs missed. Please don't ask me to tell you what it was, just google it.
Probably not but this is by far their most egregious deed yet because they did it after the referee inspected them. However I suspect all hell will break loose if he doesn't.
Since the correct thread is locked I will post this here. ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk 2m2 minutes ago On PFT Live, Tom Curran says there's a sense in Boston that the #DeflateGate report is coming in the next 24 hours.
Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter 54s54 seconds ago Ted Wells transmitted his report to Commissioner Goodell and the New England Patriots earlier today.
And didn't we KNOW this would be held until after the draft...how this continues to happen is just unbelievable. Of course Goodell will do nothing, Kraft has deep pockets and doesn't give a shit how he throws it around.
Goodell is starting his fireplace as we speak. He hasn't used it since he burned the spygate tapes so theres quite a bit of dust he needs to brush off. Once he does that, he will burn this Wells report, announce a soft tap on the wrist for the Patriots, call it a day and say he's sorry but the report was torched, somehow.
Adam Schefter 8 mins · Ted Wells: "We do not believe that the evidence supports a conclusion that there was any deliberate effort by the Patriots to circumvent the NFL's Playing Rules with respect to the kicking balls used during the AFC Championship Game." Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 2m2 minutes ago Wells report also concludes it's probable that Patriots deliberately deflated balls and Tom Brady was "generally aware".
Report is out. Eh... "More probable than not" eqmt managers did stuff. BB in clear. Brady likely knew.
