   That was what I was thinking. And forget that list, how many of these tightends can you say he is out right better then. Jermaine Wiggins Jerramy Stevens Alex Smith Marcus Pollard Jimmy Kleinsasser Eric Johnson Daniel Graham Bubba Franks Desmond Clark Stephen Alexander Baker is clearly 20-30 in the league.
I'm not ready to annoint Winslow as one of the top TE's in the league based on one season. And you're just foolish with the Davis comment....
Some of those guys on that list can't block and the teams have to use a blocking TE when they need the extra protection. Baker can stay in pretty much everydown cuase he does everything well.
Barring serious injury this kid is going to be one of the better tight ends for years to come. Davis started 8 games had 20 rec 265 yards his long was 52, 3 td's, 20 catches over 20 yards and 2 over 40 yards I wont post bakers stats, cause I dont like embarrasing Jets.
I love this team to death but Im not going to fool myself into thinking hes a top 15 talent. No offense gm.
Chris Baker overrated? Man, if Baker's stab against the Browns to force overtime had counted, people would've watched that clip for weeks on Sportscenter, Chris Berman would've come up with some nifty nickname ending in "aker" and we'd all be talking about 86 in at least the top ten. And don't forget what a quality blocker he is- Schot's offense needs a blocking tight end. I was so sick of hearing about Greg Olsen pre-draft. My prediction- Baker, Brad Smith and Frisman Jackson are gonna break out for 150 catches combined while Cotch and Coles get pressed all year.
Top tight ends By the way, it's a little ridiculous to post a top ten of players and preface it with "not in any particular order." Are you reminding us who plays football these days or what?
