I agree with you on this. People who never go to a game have no clue what they miss. I always laugh at those who say "well I get to see the replays over and over". When I`m at the game, I don`t need to see the replay because I just saw it happen with my own eyes. If it was so spectacular, then I`ll see it on the highlights.

Just bought a season parking permit for almost 500 online. Well worth it to pay another 25 bucks a game to not have to go through that shit.

As for whoever is saying other teams have it bad, I'm crying, etc.

I'm sorry, I'm just used to not having to pay 25 bucks to take a drive in a school bus that is just as long as the drive from my house. And it definately could have been planned out better. What ever happened to the parking decks they were building? Why so many parking permits needed? Those lots never even come close to full. Why not stor the equipment off site instead of making your paying fans park off site?

I know what it feels like, since Iused to have season tickets. I gave them up, because it's much BETTER watching it on TV. No idiots in front of me who stand up for a 3 yd run, or who do other stupid stuff. We had good seats under the overhang, so rain wasn't an issue, but it was nice not to freeze, and to be able to watch the 4pm games no problem too.

This is like saying "Why go to a concert when you can listen to the CD at home?" "Why go a nice restuarant when you can order in from that restaurant?" "Why go to the movies when you can just rent the DVD?"

Why do anything? Why ever leave the house?

Sometimes you want to be there just to be there. Who cares if some guy stands in front of you for 2 minutes? Every little inconvenience should cause me to stay at home? Gimme a break.

I had a parking permit. It was great - I was right outside of Gate C. There were plenty of spaces though, I'm surprised that so many people had to park so far away - was it because of construction?

"WE" the fans aren't paying for the new stadium. The teams are actually financing the stadium. "WE" the people are paying for some infrastructure improvements and that's it.

Then go, but don't complain about the parking, because it's part of the deal.

no! You`re wrong! When those PSL`s(Personal Seating Licenses)come into play, WE will be paying for the stadium. Do NY fans have to pay for NJ`s infrastructure? NO THEY DON`T! And they will NOT! NJ does not see a penny from the PSL`s. The Jets and Giants will. At $5,000 per seat x 2 teams(Jets and Giants) x 80,000 seats is $800 million dollars. The stadium will supposedly cost 1.4 billion which is only $600 million less. Both teams will need to collect from stadium club seats and corporate boxes which they will collect much more than the $600 million from those. Not to mention what they will collect from advertisers and vendors who want to do business there. Don`t kid yourself buddy. WE the fans will pay for the entire cost of this stadium plus some, and NJ taxpayers will eat the cost of the old stadium. Both teams will actually make a few hundred million from doing absolutely nothing but being what they are. Don`t get dillusional.

no, I'm not wrong. WE the people implies TAXPAYERS. TAXPAYERS are not paying for the stadium. People who attend the games are paying, and RIGHTFULLY SO.

Look, teams are BUSINESSES. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO MAKE MONEY!!!

well, WE the taxpayers of NJ are going to get raped for the old shithole. WE wil have to cover the cost of the demolition PLUS the money it has lost over the years. That to me, is paying for the new stadium in one way. Being a season ticketholder is the other way which I`m not happy about.

I don`t want a new stadium in NJ. I don`t like any part of it to be honest with you. East Rutherford, NJ isn`t exactly a Mecca for anything but traffic and a few football games and the occasional big name concert. I live 13.6 miles from my old tailgating spot. The Meadowlands has always been a shithole and right now it is a complete friggin nightmare over there. This Xanadu project better be the best thing since sliced bread because if it ain`t, it`s gonna remain a shithole forever no matter what kind of new Giants Stadium they build there.

Yeah, I`m not at all a happy camper about the Jets new plans and all. Sorry if you thought I was ranting on you. I wasn`t. Just a discussion board and I went off a bit.
