Doing a straight up mock is boring, so I added a trade to liven it up.

The trade is between Jets and Jags.

Bosa and Williams go 1&2 so the Jets are interested in trading.

    Jets get
    - 7th overall pick
    - 2019 3rd round pick (giving us 3 3's)
    - Leonard Fournette (rumors swirling they may trade him to draft a QB)

    Jags get
    - 3rd overall pick
    - 2020 late round pick

    DRAFT

Round 1 - Greedy Williams (CB, LSU)
    - Corner will be a huge need for us. Trumaine had a terrible year and I believe Skrine and Claiborne have their contracts up. Greedy is someone Adams will vouch for with the LSU connection and he's far and away the top corner available.

Round 3 - Chase Winovich (DE, MICH)
    - another need is a pass rusher. I think we'll add a name in FA but it doesn't hurt to also add one through the draft.

Round 3 - Trey Pipkins (OT, Sioux Falls)
    - HUGE need. Pipkins had a great East/West Shrine game. Big kid with quick feet.

Round 3 - Collin Johnson (WR, Texas)
    - we need a bigger receiver, Johnson is 6'5 220 and has impressive speed for his size

Round 4 - Isaiah Prince (OT, Ohio State)
    - another OL something we neglected in the last draft l. Need to protect Darnold, he'll most likely be an RT in the NFL.

Round 5 - Will Harris (S, Boston College)
    - safety depth. Maye is injured a lot it's good to have insurance

    Round 7 - Qadree Ollison (RB/FB, PITT)
    - I don't even think we have a FB on the roster, so why not

Thanks, although I think the board would spontaneously combust if we drafted CB followed by DE. Only question is no interior line? That seems more of a priority than 2 tackles and surely 3 third round picks is prime territory for that.

We could, this is just the way it fell for me. Could also address the position in FA

Nice effort but honestly, I’d rather take Allen at 3.

I think Fournette is overrated (lacks vision / lateral movement). I would probably keep the picks or entertain another trade, I want a 2nd rounder.

Edge and OL are bigger needs than CB. And I'd rather draft a RB in the middle rounds than trade for Fournette. In a trade down, I'd like at least a 2nd in 2019 and a 2nd in 2020 .

We need offense, offense, offense. Defense has been BPA for the last 8 years. Time for a change. This is a big reason why we haven't made the playoffs in a near decade.

Not the year to be needing to draft offense. We are going to have to trade down or else everyone should brace themselves for drafting D again.

They say this every year. I can understand #3 being an OLB. But both 3rd rounders must be offense.

I like the idea of Fournette, but I suspect the Jags will end up releasing him. If that happens the Jets could sign him for a bargain rate instead on a 1 year prove it deal.

This was definitely thinking outside of the box, I'll give you credit. I don't think they will go corner in round 1, but how could you not want a guy named "Greedy?"

Problem is, we are picking in top 3 in a very heavy at the top defensive class. No receiver, RB or OT is worth taking with the third pick because it would be a reach.

I'd love to grab Deebo Samuel in the third but I think he'll improve his stock and be a second rounder - which we do not not have.

I did say I think we'll sign a big FA pass rusher. Hence why I didn't draft one earlier.

If we don't then I'd gladly stay at 3 and take Bosa, Gary, Allen, Ferrell, etc.

Honestly, if it’s not Josh Allen, we are going to have to reach or trade down. Taking a DT or CB at #3 is an utter failure. Taking Williams at #3 is absolutely atrocious. I would trade down, even if the value isn’t there. I would move from #3 to #10 for a few mid round picks if we are that worried about reaching.

Fair enough. Not sure I'd take Gary at 3. He's not the edge rusher we badly need.

even if we sign an edge in f.a. I would take allen. there is nothing that happens in free agency that should change the big board, especially at the front of the draft.

    100 per cent..Defense can't score you points

Been saying this for months ..get your Edge Rusher in FA ...best guy at best price

Then in draft Trade down and find those gems on Offense and OL to build around Sam

Sign bell or hunt then take best d guy on th board both kipper and mcshay just said on espn last night he is best defensive player of not the best player in this draft. I’d like a possible Aaron darnold in the middle next to big cat and who ever we can get to pass rush in free agency Fowler will probably be there.

Nice job but no thanks on Chase Winovich (DE, MICH) - unathletic and overrated imho.
