I think Revis really spoils a lot of us on what good coverage is. We see replay's of Revis and he makes sticking to a WR look effortless most of the time. You can tell Wilson had good coverage for most of the night because there were more than a few times that the Ravens picked up our blitzes and Flacco still didn't find anyone deep. He is a rookie who went up against a very deep and experienced WR corps in his first game. He came out with a few things to learn but he held his own pretty well for his first real NFL action.

Fair point, particularly that I think the additions to the Ravens' wideouts (remember the discussions here about the Jets getting Boldin?) plus a more experienced Flacco make them a much improved passing team.

But... That doesn't address that the Pats also have lots of weapons, and how are hte Jets going to cover them all?

Obviously if the Pats go single back or even empty backfield, the Jets will respond with more corners in there. I still don't like seeing Lowery and especially Coleman on that field, but we can expect to see them play this weekend.

The Pats have weapons but they are different types of weapons. Outside of Moss the Pats don't have much of a deep threat. I think and hope that Wilson will fare better coming up to make tackles on the screens and short dump offs then he did trying to defend the vertical passing game against the Ravens.

Good obervation. Wilson can also immediately improve by not holding his receiver seven yards off the line when it is 3rd and 28.
