Our 2009 and 2010 playoff runs

    and both years the Jets matched up very well with that team.

    I remember the 09 season we were the only team to truly shut down the Saints, just Sanchez threw a couple of pick six's..


    2010 we only lost to Greenbay because of a bunch of dropped passes, which normally dont happen with Cotchery

    Well the Jets did injure Mathis, which I think had a huge effect in Super Bowl 44. Brees had no pressure on him all game really.

    Then of course last year we injured Pouncey which lead to Roethlisberger playing under pressure which lead to turnovers etc.

    Then this year the Ravens injured Gronkowski which IMO won the Giants the Super Bowl. If Gronkowski was at full strenght the Giants would have lost.

    Yep, I think the Jets could have beaten either of those teams if they made the Super Bowl, especially last year... but what can you do?

    The Saints were very vulnerable. The Packers seemed like the team of destiny, but then again, so did the Jets =(
