Btw in the Kraft anti-Wells Report report he cited a Nobel winning scientist to back up their claims that the NFL was wrong about air pressure and Belichick was correct. Of course this guy was paid royally by Kraft Enterprises and is on their payroll.
I'm sure the NFL wants to move past this, but Kraft and the Pats won't let it go away. The Pats refusal to acknowledge ANY wrongdoing by ANYONE has cost the league a metric shit ton of $ and is certainly damaging the shield.
Because Kraft won't play nice anymore, he will find himself excommuniated from the boys club. I suspect he wont be on any committee's anymore and the NFL will just find new people to step up and drum revenue. Al Davis is rolling over laughing from his crypt
it's clearly time to move him off some of these influential committees.. other owners need to grow a set and vote him off at next opportunity.
I think the impasse with Kraft if there is one is his affiliation with the old boys network vs the pressures on him to fight the league and never admit they've been cheating and lying. None of the other owners are phased at all that they've been doing it. Except when it hurts the brand name of the NFL and it's revenue making power. Kraft knows that if he fights Roger over this he'll be biting the hand that feeds him possibly all the way to the Supreme Court. Does he really want a no rules league.
