I would imagine he'd at least play one series like he did last preseason against the Giants. Other than that, it's the Tyrod Taylor show.
Well, we saw that movie last year just with different actors except one. Nothing different this year so far. Just more unnecessary drama We're used to it..
Saleh said today that there was no point to have Breece practicing. I want to say Rodgers won't play a snap in the preseason but he probably will. I can't imagine Tyron Smith plays any games so not sure how I feel about Rodgers being behind some of the backup OL.
A lot of the star QB’s, receivers, backs, etc. sit out most of the preseason. It’s not really unusual.
The real question for this year is how it's all going to go wrong. They've got to go big on this one, since it's the finale of the Saleh Era as well as a follow-up to last year, which served as a nice sequel to Vinny's Week 1 achilles tear 24 years prior. They've got to completely outdo themselves in order to usher out the Douglas/Saleh/Rodgers/Wilson era properly.
Yes. If I didn't believe there are people within the Jets organization who may be at least annoyed by what may represent a double standard I would not have made my post. Hero worshippers may feel free to disagree. Rehab and voluntary workouts are irrelevant, as is your opinion of what gives the Jets their best chance for success. The word "mandatory" is used with purpose. I've read every post in the conversation here but can't identify any that indicate anyone is "freaking out" in any way over the subject. Rather than ordering people off the internet to relax perhaps you might examine why you seem to be so overwrought about the subject. Incidentally, for perspective on who needs to "touch grass" - this is my third post in the thread, you've posted fifteen already. "Holy shit!"
It’s just a thing people do when they can’t handle disagreement. “Holy shit get off the internet!!” why? Cause I disagree with you?
Rodgers is a weak man afraid of criticism. If he knew he was going to blow off minicamp for months why didn't he say that on the numerous times he's met with the media in the past weeks. "I'm here now because I can't make it to minicamp next week/month" Instead he let Robert Saleh explain away his absence, and to Saleh's credit, he didn't make excuses for Rodgers. I respect that -- ^^ Connor Hughes just doesn't want to be shut out of the building by reporting anything the Jets find negative
It's funny how people jump to conclusions about Rodgers missing a couple minicamp days when he has literally been at every single voluntary off season activity. Nobody with a brain is even remotely concerned about this.
Rodgers literally told the Jets in advance of this. It's crazy how everyone is suddenly imploding over fake news based on emotional rhetoric.
which news is fake? so very nice of him to let the team know he intended to blow them off but I dont see how that makes it any better.
It's not fake. Look up the meaning of the word mandatory. What a bitter bitter BITTER disappointment. I hate it when big name guys come here and don't put in the work/pay their dues like everyone else. In Rodgers' case he also leads by example. No wonder the other big money guy the Jets signed this offseason Reddick is also holding out. Follow the leader.
