Saleh would regain a lot of credibility by making such a bold move as to replace Rodgers' pal at OC. I still think JD would veto such a move as God Forbid, they piss off the Messiah.
I probably will saying that when he gets hurt yeah. You will be one of these guys that calls it a fluke when he gets injured again. (A fluke 3 years in a row!) At his age he needs to be 100% committed to the game to stay healthy, not blowing off the team and his body for recreational drugs
If you can go to this, you should. I went last year and it was pretty cool. Wish I could go again but none of those dates work for me unfortunately.
There's still time for an OC switch. Unfortunately I heard that its quite common for position coaches to call plays during minicamp and not really an indication of a demotion. Get this.... they use minicamp as a way to "practice" and "improve" their coaching skills. Now, if only all the players followed suit...
I get it, but the Spawn of Hackett is simply terrible. In this case, they just want to make sure they don't need glasses . . . or something . . . ? I don't wear glasses on a regular basis, just some dollar store jobs to read small print on occasion. I can see from a distance just fine and my eyes tell me this guy sucks.
Helicopter that shit. This organization deserves to be burned to the ground, it's a perennial embarrassment. I have reached this boiling point where I hope the Jets never win another game. Speaking of burning, when wildfires back in 2012 were encroaching on The New Dump, I was all please God, please, please God, please God. Term of art, of course, I'm an atheist; but it cemented my conviction that it's total bullshit.
Tearing an Achilles in week 1 is the definition of fluke injury. If he does get injured, it's not going to be because of missing 3 non contact days of practice before training camp. We all know who the real OC is and it's not Hackett or any other coach.
Well if you know who is the real OC, what does it say that he’s skipping mandatory practices? Especially after undressing the team about commitment?
Downing was awful for the Raiders in that one year. That's why it was one year. We all thought we had the next young stud coach and were afraid he would get snatched up by someone. It was all a mirage. We ended up feeling the same about Downing as you guys feel about Hackett. But, who knows, maybe the light came on since then.
Thanks. I think you're probably correct, as I think someone who is a fan of the Titans said the same thing. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Hopefully, it won't matter who calls the plays, as Rodgers will probably audible and call what he wants at the LOS, and if the Jets out-execute the other team's defense, it should matter less.
He can't regain something he never had. Woody, on the other hand, could have regained some credibility by showing this coaching staff the door on January 8, but then again, credibility is not something that this franchise is in any way familiar with.
No. Why would any sane person base an injury on a missed practice or three? You seem to be letting your own imagination get away from itself. But I see no signs of panic at all, Calling interest in a guy missing practice a panic is, indeed, "fake news."
