How many times do people have to post all the statistics from the last 3 years that show A-Rod's "meaningful" numbers are better than Jeter's?
How many times must I tell you it's about postseason. Jeter ahs come through for us a million times and was a key to winning 4 Championships while ARod ignited the Sox in '04 then disappeared in the ALCS(as did everyone else so I gave him a pass for that) then had ZERO RBI, errors and baserunning blunders that cost us the '05 ALDS. Jeter struggled for a year or 2 but this year he's been phenomenal helping to carry us while we had so many injuries and while ARod sunk into a huge funk. You can have ARod, I'll take Jeter any day. ARod is all about #s, Jeter is all about winning.
A-Rod vs Jeter is like some kind of holy war at this point and probably not worth talking about any more. Neither side is likely to change.
