A healthy Pouha, yes, but I'm not confident in his health.

This is a great signing, as long as it's veteran min or very close to it. Pace knows the system and can help teach some of the younger guys on the roster as well as the guys we bring in through the draft.

He's not going to be a pro bowl caliber player or anything, but he will be average and probably make a few big plays throughout the year. It also gives us some more flexibility in the draft. However, it is time that we stop ignoring the need for a pass rusher and actually take one with a day 1 or 2 pick this year

You guys already know how I feel about this useless prick...

But I'm not going to argue w/a minimum salary for depth @ a position I will say this though...

    We kept Pace
    Sanchez
    Tebow

and Let Landry, Keller & Revis go...

My biggest gripe with this organization is it's refusal to pay it's top players...every single time.

This is the closest I've ever felt to being a fukin "Darksider"....

Pay them with what, green stamps? Tebow is gone, Sanchez will cost more to cut than keep and Pace as you said is here at the vet minimum..what the hell is the problem? If you have 4 million to give Landry, then do it, 4 million for Keller do that too..oh and an extra 10 million for Revis? By all means, the Jets will be sure to thank you.

We can't pay the top players. We've spent all the cap money on the shit ones.

Pace got cut and re-signed for a vet minimum deal

Idzik is/was stuck with Sanchez due to the albatross of a contract Tannenbaum gave him.

Tebow will be gone before training camp. They have nothing to gain by cutting him yet, and might as well try and trade him for a conditional 7th for the cap relief. When that doesn't happen he will be cut.

As for the "refusal to pay it's top players...every single time" What about Mangold, Ferguson, Harris (mroe debatable than the first two), Revis's original extension, re-signing Cromartie?

Our linebackers are old and slow. Why are bringing back one of the biggest problems from last year?

I know it's difficult to think analytically, but come on. Do you realize what vet min, and depth means? It's very unlikely he's a starter.

LMAO you really think Rex isn't going to start Pace? Rex has already proven that he's a buffoon and clown of a head coach. Knowing that he's buddy-buddy with Pace, he'll probably start him Week 1 over some young kid from the draft.

That's probably the stupidest nonsense I've read on here recently, and believe me there's plenty. Rex will start the player who shows the most on the practice field and in TC. I can't believe people are still butthurt that he didn't throw Demario Davis and Coples right into the starting lineup day 1 of their rookie years. Many rookies don't start until 2-3 years into their contracts, but Rex is an idiot for not immediately starting his 3rd round pick. There needs to be an emoticon of someone bashing their head against the wall. That's exactly how I feel. Another bullshit myth about Rex Ryan perpetuated by nothing but irrational hate. LOL at the idea of having blind loyalty and purposely holding back rookies who play better, just because...

OMG! WHO CARES IF COPLES HASN'T LEARNED THE SYSTEM YET. JUST START HIM, REX! YOU'RE A BUFFOON AND I KNOW MORE ABOUT COACHING THAN YOU, DESPITE NEVER PLAYING OR COACHING A GAME IN MY LIFE!!! (The logic of pretty much every Rex hater)
