It doesn't really matter. As Cappy pointed out, we got two hits last night. It didn't matter who was on the mound. I'm glad we wasted Karstens rather than let Kennedy waste a callup/send down start.
I'm not worried about options on Karstens or Brower either. But it doesn't necessarily make sense to start Kennedy's clock for one start, when it's not necessarily a make or break decision.
That's right and I wonder what they would have done with Kennedy if he did come up after that start. I know he was coming as of Saturday. I doubt they would have put him in the pen like they did with Chamberlain and there was no place in the rotation if he did well.
The Yankees and Red Sox having problems against the Orioles and Devil Rays. Something doesn't sound right here.
Sterling just called an entire at-bat as being Betemit at the plate, but it was Cano. I'm so glad I listen to the radio to have someone's eyes watching for me.
WTF!?!?!?! This team is either feast or famine. I knew I shouldn't have gotten excited. All year is one big letdown after another.
This is pathetic and they face another good pitcher tomorrow night too. The reason we can't just throw games away.
It is not over yet. Only down 3-0 against a Bullpen who allowed 6 runs in the bottom of the ninth in Boston.
