I went to a few east ms games with a scout..Blount is pretty fucking legit.

That said, he should transfer home, wait a year, and get a year of SEC play under his belt. State would kill for him, but OM would have a home for him in the wild rebel. Right hooks happen all the time in real leagues..

gets good at 1:31 and 4:00 on

Well then don't punch him... I've seen idiots in bars have more balls than this guy. My guess is this guy is a punk bitch which would explain why he hit the guy when he wasn't looking and was hightailing it out to the locker room as soon as he did it. Hout probably should not have said anything but he and Oregon had it coming the way Blount was mouthing off to the media. If your gonna blame the coaches for not putting a muzzle on him fine but they didn't and they had to think there was gonna be some shit talk after Oregon and Blount had it handed to them.

I'd agree with you that there certainly is a maturity difference but stuff like this hardly ever happens. I've seen the Ducks athletic program before and former coach Mike Belloti put his foot in his mouth a few years ago so my guess is that there isn't a whole lot of teaching of becoming a man when the head coach has no issue looking like an idiot in front of a bunch of people at the Las Vegas Bowl a few years...

Shit that's tough. I don't know the rule book that well. It might be up to the NCAA, who probably wouldn't rule in his favor.

Hey all im saying is im not defending his punch yes he deserve to get suspended most defenantly... but its like i would have to be a fool to go over to a team and start talking shit and not expect someone to get hard feelings... its poor sportsmanship... and these kids are humongous but when you look at them there children 18-21 though they look like grown men... They shouldnt be allowed to walk off together after the game is over.. and in college there has been plenty of all out brawls because of that simple fact...

I thought about that, and being that it's a suspension, my guess is that it counts toward his eligibility.

Definition of a punk bitch. Sucker punches are for the biggest pussies in the world, this guy, Carmelo Anthony, and the like. No heart whatsoever. To add insult to injury, this tough guy struck at his own team and ran like a fucking coward at the sight of opposition. I loved that "backwards swag", you know you see a punk bitch when you see one. His own team should be giving him a beatdown for disrespect

Poor sportsmanship? I listened to a WAC news conference and a Boise assistant coach told this story.

LaGarrette Blount ran his mouth before the game.

He said something like: "...we owe Boise State an ass-whoopin and I'm going to give it to them"

Byron Hout was just yelling - "...where was that ass whoppin you promised?!??"

Backs up what I was saying about how Blount had what was coming to him... he didn't stop running hiw mouth and it started last year. Oregon should have put a gag order on him but now he's shown it was never about Oregon. It was all about him... good riddance you loser.

Rich, watch the tape again. The reason that Blount threw the punch was because Hout was talking shit to him and the reason that Hout did not see it coming was because his coach was pulling him aside to tell him he was an asshole. Hout deserved to get smacked in the mouth and you know it is bad when Hout's teammates do not even bother to step up for him. As Blount does his (gay) little victory dance away from Hout everybody around him is just calmly walking by. Was Blount an idiot for doing it? Yes. Did he deserve his suspension? Yes, especially after he tried to go after the fans in the stands. But Hout had it coming to him too. Blount was acting like a thug - and a bitch of one at that - and he deserves to be suspended but Hout was not an innocent victim here, his own head coach told him he was being a dumbass.

Hout clearly was not an innocent victim here and anybody with a brain could see that. Boise released a further statement saying that even though they would not issue him a formal suspension there would still be discplinary action taken against him for his role in this.
