What would Philadelphia have to do w/ it? Shanksville, PA is nowhere near Philly. I don't think it's a terrible idea on the surface but there is a reason the league has never scheduled Jets-Giants at night. I think it would get out of hand and be a balck eye for NY fans. I'd also like to see both NY teams have a chance to win on that date. I just don't want to see it, that game should be in Oct/Nov at 1PM.
They probably wouldn't sell alcohol if it were a primetime game. Like the last game of the 2009 season against the Bengals. That would help.... a little.
That would just mean most people would get even more drunk in the parking lot. The Cincy game was a celebration of making the playoffs so everyone was happy, if the Jets and Giants meet the Stadium will be almost 50/50 w/ alot of angry drunks.
well hopefully people can keep their cool considering the day. but i see your point considering it will be the first game of the season, a primetime game, and the jets vs giants. anyways, it may not even happen if they don't sign off on a new agreement.
