Not too optimistic, the guy loves his sig. He wants a Super Bowl appearance, a long offseason thinking about how close the Jets were, then a Super Bowl XLV title. :lol:
This is not good. I'm only in my comfort zone when I hear Champ railing on about 40 years, 11 months, 28 days and 14 hours since the VLT.
Here's to a dominant performance by our O-line and Defense. Hey by the way, if you see a guy named Vaughn Martin on the SD D-line, he's from Ontario...a great athlete we could have had in the 4th round last draft. Definitely not good enough to take on Mangold though.
I was listening to Beningo yesterday...and a caller was saying how Rex has changed the Jet fan mentality of S.O.J. Joe says something like 'Not really...I have a tough time seeing how the Jets will win this game..but they can win the game.' Rexs bravado has made even us old timers more confident...and it does translate to this game. More importantly, for me at least, it translate to the future. Im watching this game confident that we could win...but more confident that for the first time in a decade...we are going in an incredible direction. The offense is just waiting for the maturation of the qb..and the defense might be a couple pieces away from Rexs dream. Regardless..its coming...for that there is no more doubt here.
