Well I recall reading somewhere that LaFleur - not Douglas or Saleh - wasn't thrilled with installing Zach as the QB to run his complex system. The conspiracy theorist in me even wonders if MLF's letting Zach play more aggressively early on knowing he'd likely fail and then being able to tell Douglas & Saleh: "See? I told you so". In any case, LaFleur did finally admit to mishandling Zach and that was a big reason for his struggles along with all the other issues discussed. We can only hope that doing what they've done since last season will work in resurrecting Zach. It's clearly the best outcome for the Jets. But now it's on Zach to take advantage of the opportunity even if has come far earlier than he or anyone else thought.
I think he can have a high percentage of completions and still lose the game. In fact I think he will have a high completion percentage by dinking and dunking you know? I hope he sustains drives. Fingers crossed, go Jets.
At this point they don’t really have a choice but to trust him down 10-0 quick against a good defense. But there’s still ways to scheme open looks and Hackett is content on making Zach figure out the zones.
One thing for sure, Dallas is a good team despite the fact that they seem to choke at the end or posts. A very efficient offense and Defense can create havocs. It was a disappointing loss but we were in the game in the 2nd quarter and beginning of the 3rd quarter before the offense just couldn’t get it going. Move on to the next game
I'm getting used to it unfortunately.. Just ignore all the BS from the CS and believe what you see, base your opinions on that and only that.
