Man, fluff pieces like this make me nostalgic for the old days when we were guaranteed an article in June telling us how "Curtis Martin has run up and down three million steps since the season ended and believes that even at age 42 he is better prepared than ever for the rigours of a new campaign."

Or how about one where Chad was working on changing his throwing motion and he was taking judo classes to learn how to fall down without his GI Joe arm popping off?

Think they'll even bother with one on Gholston this year? You know, how much he's learned after what's it been, two or three seasons of not playing?

The only thing that worries me about Harris is he seems to get nicked up a lot. Other than that, he absolutely ranks right up there with Patrick Willis.

I hear they're bringing in a team of pass-rushing specialists from Bolivia to work with Gholston on his swim move.

I was really hoping that Jay Glazer and Randy Couture paring would have worked out. If they could have convinced him to quit the NFL and pursue a MMA career, the Jets wouldn't even have to pay him.
