I'm beginning to wonder just what the perception of the Jets Organization really is these days. There definetly seems to be a shift in that everybody wants to come here be it as players or coaches has indeed changed.
It isn't like Maybin developed great pass rushing moves lol He literally took the widest angles ever. He basically ran to the parking lot and back to get sacks. He got those sacks off of speed, not technique.
from what I read he was basically working for nothing this year. He probably got a lowball offer from the Jets. Then a much more lucrative offer came alons---with more responsibility. No brainer.
I bet the many cultural, creative, and artistic advantages that 'Mo-town', WV has over New York City was a factor in his decision... BTW: How 'bout them Eers! (I'm a fan)
.....or maybe he just wanted to go somewhere where everyone in the city wouldn't be calling for his job next year.....
Good. It was weird the Jets still hadn't hired someone else in the mean time... maybe they knew something?
Glad he’s staying. He really helped Maybin, and now if we draft a passrusher in the higher rounds, he can develop well under him.
I don't think Maybin really changed much. If he improves after this offseason then I will say that he has helped Maybin.
