I do not remember Kerry Rhodes dominating anything. Most overated player by Jets fans, by far. The love for him on this board is beyond me.
I agree with you Slim.....he has been bad this year. Before I decide for sure I want to see how he does next year when we'll almost surely have a different defensive coach, because maybe Kerry has bee misused this season.
really?? I remember him picking off passes and blitzing the QBs effectively... now he has no stats that would prove that this year but I don't see the ball being thrown his way i see it being checked down against the shitty CB depth on the defense. They take Rhodes out of the game..... oh, and when there is no pass rush - no DB ever looks good. Reed and Polamalu look good because of a pass rush.
Look, I've made this points a bunch of times and it looks like i'll be making it again. He plays 25 yards off the ball because his best skill, BY FAR, is his ability to play the deep ball. He has really good ball skills and plays the deep pass very well. He just isn't the blitzer or cover guy that 90 percent of this board thinks he is. By the way, there was YET ANOTHER example today of him blitzing from his free safety spot and totally mistiming his blitz and starting from 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage. The play resulted in a big first down play for "loss"-man and the bills.

Just remember every time you admire Ed Reed. We drafted that overrated piece of trash Bryan Thomas when we already had Ellis and Abraham with Reed on the board, and then to further admit the need at safety we drafted that piece of sht John McGraw in rd 2.
