Stand pat and take the BPA on each pick. That'll likely be Ferguson or Bush on the 4 and an OL or RB on the 29.
I get a beer, sit down on a reclining chair, and have a cell phone by my side in case anything drastic happens. If the Saints want to pay 3 RBs major money hell let them do it. If the Titans want to go into the season with Volek the hell let THEM do it. If the Jets could get Bush at the 4 we would have struck a goldmine.
If I'm the GM, I make the move to get Bush. He's a special RB--one who only comes around every 12-15 years. If you can waste a 1st rd.. pick on Doug Jolley last year, you can trade some picks away and get this guy. If no Bush, lets see Matt Lienhart, one more year of Penny than Matt at QB.
If I was the GM I would give any picks the Saints wanted to get Bush... At this point I do not want a olinemen at #4 so i would trade up or down... I would not stay at 4 if I was the GM.
This is something that I agree with you on. Either stockpile more picks or make a move. But I would much rather get more picks esp. with all the cap room we still have.
