Who said they thought he would do well? Maybe they just thought he would do better than _______. And since _______ was the worst starting QB in the league two straight years, maybe they were correct.
Yes lets let aid Fitzpatrick's thumb at the expense of our entire run game. And since our offense revolved around our run game basically aid Fitzpatrick's thumb at the expense of our OFFENSE in mid-season. sounds brilliant. Just as brilliant as a 1 on 1 vs JJ Watt.. just as brilliant as running straight at JJ Watt all game and the one time u ran away from Watt was a 20 yard pick up lmao. Just as brilliant as waiting til Hopkins scores not once but twice to put a safety help over top lmaoo! We're still dysfunctional.
Well you can't do any worse than picks in back to back possessions so how can you say that they were correct? You literally couldn't have done any worse than Fitzpatrick did after that hit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Literally? Really? A pick 6 on the first INT would have been worse. There is a guy who shall remain nameless who has perfected that play over the last 2 years. _
Semantics much? Are we really now going with the theory that Geno could have thrown a pick 6 instead of a pick and then another pick? Come on man Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
the fitzpatrick thumb / running game theory is just a theory. Its entirely possible that it doesn't make a difference at all as Ivory could be out of steam. As the OL isn't opening up shit for holes anyway
You said it "literally" could not have been worse. Don't use the term "literally" if you don't want a literal answer. That's how "semantics" work. _
OK sorry guys....the INTs on back to back possessions were very bad and the only thing possibly worse was a pick 6 even though the result is still the same...A loss Jesus Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FYP #7 blows . Yeah, ok whatever Mr. Spock except now you're starting to sound like Big Blocker.......and that's never good.
None of it matters. I can't tell you if [the rookie] is ready to be an NFL QB. I can't tell you if [the third year pro that got sucker punched] is excelling in practice, paying attention in the meetings, or is a whiny bitch that everyone hates. I've seen [the veteran] play hard, but he has also played recklessly, has a weak arm, and has made mistakes. Who is our best option going forward? Fuck if I or anybody else knows who should be the QB - Everyone is just talking out their ass.
i don't know... we've seen in the past ivory run well behind the same shitty o-line. I already see the same ol' ivory when he gets those screen passes in open space.. same burst.. same violent runner. He's a down hill runner. He ran his best in i-formation and he ran damn near as well out of the pistol set. But this shot gun when he's lined up side by side with the QB is killing him. He doesn't have the acceleration to get the ball and zoom right away..he needs that 3-4 yard head start to gain himself then hit the hole like a man on fire. Mangold getting hurt every game isn't helping either.
like I said... possible. But he also used to run better out of the shotgun anyway. I think the running game was fools gold this year early. They were never opening holes, Ivory was just running like his hair was on fire, which we all kinda figured wouldn't last
Why is Geno on the roster if we can't trust him to be better than back to back INTs at crunch time? If that's the theory, that's a better question Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The GenoHaters have divided. 1/4 have become Fitzsuckers, 1/4 have become impractical Petty fans, 1/4 are both, and the last 1/4 remains ignorant. Fitz sucks Geno sucked the last 2 years Petty needs 2-3 years to become NFL worthy And we got morons stating one throw would've been a pick 6 instead of an interception, one throw would have been caught because the wind behind Fitz beard hurts the trajectory, and one could hand off the ball for a loss of 1 better. Only problem that matters is we are losing to sorry ass teams while QB's like TJ Yates get signed off the street and tear up a $200 million defense.
