You also have to consider that the return from trading the number 2 pick would have been significantly higher than the return we got from trading Darnold.
And didn't our GM basically admit he misread the Anderson market and regretted losing him? Nah, not in this reality. He chose Davis and Crowder.
We could have kept Robby Anderson and instead we kept Crowder (for 75% of the cost) and then the next year signed Davis (for 133% of Anderson's money).
I'm still not a big Anderson guy. Not saying he sucks or anything like that. But I don't think he's a game changing player. He's a good piece to have with a good wr corp already in place to stretch the field.
Sure. I think he's good and the talent around him is at the bottom of the league ... just like last week.
Yup, just like last week you can say that but it isn't true. He needs one of the best playmakers in the game to look good.
Its a cm its a combination of Sam being SAM (accuracy), drops and PC that is beyond bad at times... they could run the ball more and should but this AH OC keeps dialing up passing plays like 40 a game... BTW, Sam's replacement was worse if that is possible.
Darnold with his full array of weapons, which includes one of the best playmakers in the game, has been pure garbage today. Before we start using the he's facing Bill excuse, I've watched the whole game (I fractured my ankle I never watch games that aren't jets anymore)... It's not Bill.
