It has to be the reason they haven't brought him back. He's cheap and helps in the red zone a ton. There must be something that was happening on the inside that we don't know about.

I'd love for the Jets to pick up Stallworth.

On a side note I find the above funny based on Stallworth's past.

Is Mike Williams out there? The guy made a great comeback after completely f***ing the Lions over. He is definitely someone who could work well in the redzone.

No time to panic! Tony Spo and Rex have a tone (freudian slip?) of awesome red zone Tebow plays they are hiding away until the season starts.

Tebow wasn't that good in the red zone last year. Denver was only a 44% red zone team. If the Jets put Tebow in situationally in red zone packages all they are doing is capping the team.

If the Sanchez-led Jets can't do better than 44% in the red zone next season then we're toast because the Tebow-led Jets will struggle to do that.

In 2010 the Broncos were 55% in the red zone. Last year they were 44%.

Goal line/short yardage is Tebow Time. We should be building on the redzone success Sanchez had last year, not taking steps backwards. Plaxico was a turd between the 20's but was a big part of the success we had in the redzone.

The Jets were the best in the league last year in the redzone. I really don't understand why Tebow would come in. All that will do is give us a bigger chance of turning the ball over. Sanchez is good enough at running to do his job in the RZ (not designed runs obviously). 6 rushing TDs and 26 passing TDs. Keep Sanchez in on RZ plays.

EDIT: Goal line may be a little different.

Is Tom Moore still a consultant for the Jets. He was probably a big reason we were much better in the RZ too.

Tom Moore and Plaxico Burress were both big reasons that the Jets red zone offense worked so well. For a change Mark Sanchez was very well supported in doing something and his red zone performance was much better than his performance outside the 20.

Sanchez completed 53.3% of his passes in the redzone (Eli Manning - 50%), had 21 TD's (Manning 15), threw 3 Int's (Manning 4) and had an 89.1 rating (Manning 75.5). He also ran for 6 TD's (Manning 1).
