Careful, anyone that leaves wont be welcomed back. Saleh said so. Along with the notion that our 7-9 team was worse than an expansion team (were 6-28 since JD fixed us), and the names of fans not liking uninspired losses are being kept in a box for future payback. Dude is blowing a gasket and if we lose badly next week....
These quotes are so tone-deaf. Saleh should take a page out of how McVay handled the Rams' loss. McVay took blame for everything, even things that were clearly not his fault. That's what good coaches do. They don't challenge the fans to be "better fans" or whatever it is Saleh is doing here.
Wait, @NYJetsO12 , same guy who reported me and try to ban me for making a your mom joke, made a racial comment and it's OK because he said sorry? Fuck that guy, and that's pretty weak sauce. You shouldn't be able to cry wolf then be a POS.
Jack You were reported only once by a member WHO IS NOT him. Trust me please. I am a Muslim myself. I won't take racial things lightly. But this is his first offense where he regretted right away and reached out. This is my last post on the topic.
He replied to my post, said I had a nasty mouth for saying a your mom joke, then @ you to ask if it was going to be tolerated. May not be an official report, but pretty damn close. Just my 2 cents nobody asked for.
Indeed, this team was a mess but an expansion team... Hey coach they were 7-9, your record is 4-14. STFU and get your CS and players - all of them ready to play or GTFO. And I'll send you my recipt you pompous arrorant prick. When you win more games than you lose come see me twit.
I hope he was tongue in cheek, but if not: Robert, you and your organization pumped the fans up with your draft videos and the all the talk of improved offense, so you can't call out the fans after you lose (yet again).
Whenever a new management team takes over a business, you'll hear them blame the previous regime for anything that goes wrong. Usually though, that only flies for a few months, not years.
You are correct, it was only game one, and it was lousy and a forerunner of more to come this season. Anyone anywhere near the ledge would have long ago jumped if they were so inclined; the only danger now is falling asleep and rolling off the edge. No matter what Cleveland, Pittsburgh or Cincinnati do, it will only have an affect on Saleh's career when the Jets play them. Interceptions by guys on other teams will only matter if they're playing the Jets. Not a single thing in that game was "great" for the Jets.
It used to be that people took responsibility for their own job so there was little need for anyone to point out how they screwed it up and no reason to forgive the same mistakes time after time.
"Taking receipts"? WTF is that? I've been listening to trash talk for longer than Saleh has been alive and "taking receipts" is a new one by me. "Taking names" works but who gives receipts? I'd like to see a receipt from the worst bakery in New Jersey for the biggest humble pie they make and the failure of a coach should eat it at his next press conference. You don't like being treated like a loser? Simple - don't lose!
