Kwon with 37% fuck he has looked a great signing, then again maybe more than 25 snaps will mean he gets injured, hmm!!!
Jermaine Johnson playing 29% of snaps, less than Martin, Thomas, and Nathan Shepard is inexcusable. Saleh and Ulbrich look more and more lost every week.
I don't know too much on the coaching matters truth be known, does Saleh stick his oar in on the D or the O side, does he let the DC and OC have free reign to do as they please? If it is Saleh's idea to rotate so much then it isn't working really, do other teams employ this tactic? Ulbrich looked lost last season and I'd prefer it if Saleh took over calling the D for a few games to see if he can get any improvement, if not, then his seat should get a bit hotter.
Saleh said it was because Q wanted a 4 man rush and beat his man, but they brought 7 and then got torched for Boyds touchdown bc Whitehead didn't wrap up.
Cant draft well? This last draft looks amazing. Two stars in Wilson and Sauce and flashes from Hall and Johnson.
What has LeFleaur done to make you think he could be a good HC? He hasn't mastered being a below average OC yet.
Oh please, do keep up, he had that one bad draft in 2020, the one they all bring up to make their point. The same as blaming him for not sacking Gase, even though they were equal in the Jets management tree and he had no power to sack him but yeah let's forget about all of that.
The Bengals in weeks 1 and 2 struggled offensively, mainly because their opponents played cover 2 defenses. The Jets insisted on jamming a square peg into a round hole and ran cover 2 for ONE defensive snap. I will still give credit to the defense for tightening up in the second half but how much of that is due to the Bengals taking their foot off the gas because they knew the Jets offense wouldn’t do anything.
Very true, but when I look at it, Becton aside, although I don't recall reading any season ending injuries while in College, Wilson was quite durable and a reckless scrapper in College with one injury short term, I thought Brown played all last year at a high level, Fant was just about in every game while in Seattle. Where do you draw the line? I see people dropping like flies across the NFL, yet those teams manage a way to win and not consistently use that as an excuse to change GM. IMO Is time we look less at the GM and a lot more at the CS.
The Bengals in weeks 1 and 2 struggled to keep pass rushers off the QB... Hello Jets, one RTP hit aside did we get a sack against the worst OL in the league?
Some of the players get more reps running on & off the field, then actually playing. I guess that's one way to keep players in-shape. Defensive geniuses don't ya know.
Did we really, I wonder if that was when I was out of the room or so bored I'd stopped taking it in. It really has surprised me tbh. I used to go to the NFL.com site to check all the stats out but for some reason despite being able to watch highlights it isn't showing the game/player stats under the game result page like it used to. Who got the sacks out of interest? Though I thought I'd heard that Burrows was on course for some being sacked record, which can't be right if he was only sacked twice in game 2. EDIT Stats are there today, they weren't yesterday, how odd. EDIT 2 I do remember the Q sack now lol
While not a sack, Lawson finally got to Burrow and pulled him to the ground, but he threw the ball away. Something apparently Joe has not learned to do yet.
Don’t look now but 2021 is shaping up to be pretty awful as well. Thus far Zach has been a disaster and Moore has been thoroughly underwhelming.
