    Sheppard trade

According to Espn the draft choices are for 2010 and 2011.is this true? This is the first report that indicated that.Everything else I have seen says this year and next years draft choices are what we traded him for.

When I heard it was a 5th, I thought was a steal. But check out what was on on Yahoo (keep in mind the posting date was yesterday). I would NOT be happy if this turned into a 5th this year and a 2nd, 3rd or 4th next year:

Breaking news out of Philadelphia. Sources close to both teams have just informed me that Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard will be traded to the New York Jets in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick this year, as well as a conditional draft pick next year based on playing time. The conditional pick could be a second-, third- or fourth-round selection.

A seven-year veteran, Sheppard started only three games for the Eagles in 2008, due to the arrival of Pro-Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel via free agency last year.

Sheppard had 21 tackles and an interception for Philadelphia in 2008.

More on this story as it develops."
