Would you be shocked if Jets traded with Buffalo? I know it’s far fetched but what if Rosen and Darnold are gone and Jets don’t want mayfield? Maybe Jets trade back with Buffalo, pick up draft picks and a QB later in round like Lamar or Falk, just spitballing.
Picks would be nice but gifting a potential franchise QB to the Bills after the trade up and all this build up would make me physically ill. Just take Darnold, Mayfield, or Rosen and hope our troubles are finally over.
That’s why I said if Rosen and Darnold are gone, I’m not sure gifting Mayfield or Allen as potential FQB is a sure thing.

Sorry, missed that bit but the sentiment remains. We moved up to take a QB and I’d rather take a chance and hope it works out for us than hope they don’t work out for a division rival.
I doubt it, but if rosen and darnold go 1 and 2 i'd be happy trading down and grabbing Jackson and more picks. i'd also be ok with allen I guess, just no to mayfield
I feel like it's the scene in one of those scifi movies where the entire world is standing quietly waiting to to see if the plan worked or the world is coming to an end. Unfortunately, we don't get to know in a few minutes - it might take 3 years to find out.
It might take 3 years but we Jet fans will call the pick bust at his first pick during training camp. Lol.
