Macc really has done a masterful job smokescreening. The only way he can fuck this up is by drafting Allen.
Nobody knows what these QBs will be, least of all the pundits, if they did they would have said Favre, Brady and a few others should have been overall #1 picks.
What masterful job? All he did was say nothing. It will have been a masterful job if he takes another safety..of course it will also be the last thing he does.
come on glazer, no one has done a "masterful job".....thats ridiculous. they are SUPPOSED to deceive and create believable alternative scenarios. thats what they get paid to do. the jets have screwed up the draft MUCH more often than not, the media needs to stop frothing and see what they can do to wash away at least some of the prior draft history. FWIW - darnold should be the pick, all things considered. if the bills come up to 4 i wouldn't be shocked if we flipped spots with them. the bills would be coming up with ONE guy in mind (allen) and if the jets are indeed split between rosen and darnold (assuming mayfield is off the board and giants take the RB), then so be it. THAT would be a work of art by our GM. likely won't happen but i think there is a shot it does. even with the nonsense tweets i don't believe allen gets past broncos at 5. give him a bong and he still won't get past 10.
its a damn shame because there is some serious top 10 talent here in round 1 and IF the jets were already set at QB we could be looking at a major stud in here and the flexibility to trade down and collect a pick or 2. another example of why these guys are SOOOOO important and get overdrafted and overpaid.
