Matty, what have you seen that makes you believe this team can put together a win? They really aren't good at anything.
Im far from hopeless but also far from happy. 0 turnovers. 0 sacks. Atleast 9 sacks given up so far. Not enough offense. Not enough defense. Can't run. Cant stop the pass. Just not a good start at all. Miami, buffalo, and the giants will hopefully bring some new luck.
With HOF Qb Chad Pennington at the helm the next two weeks, I have no doubt we'll win both game by a combined score of 120-14. Chad will put up 10 TD's, 0 ints, 1000+ passing yds and even rush for 100...:rofl2:
im not going to get hopeless here but lets call this for what it is... we dont have a solid o-line OR solid d-line. there are purple jerseys at least three yards into the backfield the second the play is called. d'brick (and im a huge fan of his) is not a LT in the NFL or at least not a starting LT. Next year we better get smart and trade up for Jake Long. As for our d-line we need to get stout and fast. rhodes and revis are looking solid. barrett is getting walked all over.
I'm quite impressed how Clemens and the Jets have marched down the field and made this at least a game - if Baker's catch is held up. Because the Dolphins and the Bills are both 0-2 and aren't as dominating as the Patriots and Ravens on defense. That Thomas Jones might get his first 100 yard game because of that. I'm confident in the defense to notch its sack of the season against an aging Trent Green and still developing JP Losman. Where are Lee Evans numbers, too? Why trade up for Jake Long? Have you not learned anything about trading up in the draft? Do you think he's that much better than the No.2-4 guy, to sacrifice a No.2 or No.3-round pick? C'mon man.
