I have a lot of friends who are Giants fans and do this constantly. I remember prior to the 2013 season I was talking to a coworker and he just goes off on how the Jets will be lucky to win 1 or 2 games that year and how the Giants should win the division and make the playoffs again. I went back to him when they were 1-6 while the Jets were 4-3 and all he could talk about was how the Giants won super bowls and the Jets haven't won in 40+ years. I honestly don't understand all the animosity. Like many others, I used to root for the Giants when they weren't playing the Jets. But after that 2nd superbowl a large portion of them started belittling the Jets and acting arrogant about it. Certainly, they all aren't like this, but the Jets fans' hated toward the Giants seems to be more recent and mainly a response to Giants fans talking down to them. I never actively rooted against the Giants until near 2013, maybe even late 2012.
People like that are jackasses. Not every Giants fan is like that tho but there is a reason i don't get along with the people on the giants board. Any giants fan talking down to a jets fan is an idiot plain and simple. I'm grateful for the superbowls wins and the crazy plays that happened to win them. I'll never rub it in anyones face because we can be the ones to not win anything for years to come while the jets can go on to win a few. People like that put their foot in their mouth. Giants fan forget that we wanted Coughlin gone along with half the team a couple years ago. Some giants fans are arrogant pricks but it goes for all fans. No need to rub anything in anyones face, that was then and this is now and right now my giants seem to be going downhill while the jets are on the comeup. Sucks but thats how it is. Last year when they were 0-6 they could have tanked but finished 7-9. Why tank after going 0-1? Sounds pretty dumb imo, especially when the biggest problem is their offensive line.

Because we are forced to share a stadium with them. We played in Giants stadium for years. Woody fucked up when he didn't manage to get us our own stadium. That's where this comes from. Minnesota and Jacksonville have their own stadiums. We sublet from the Giants. Build a stadium in Cortland since Rex loves it so much there.

Sounds as if this was written circa 1990. But in 2014, we own half the stadium and it really hasn't seemed like we have been second class tenants If we win, everything takes care of itself.
