Garrett Wilson had a tremendous catch at the back of the end zone right in front of me. The ref called him out but he was in, have it on video. Breece broke a huge run up the middle. Deebo Clemons was escorted out of practice for fighting I think.
These joint practices are fun! All our guys get into the game....1st vs 1st, 2nd vs 2nd, 3rd vs 3rd. Then all over again for the defense. What's really nice is that after watching the 1st vs 1st, which we dominated with Flacco hitting Corey for a TD then hitting Moore for a TD then handing off to Hall for a 75 yard scamper. Normally, that's where the fun ends but this year, there's another group with the 2nds coming out, and so much fun there too with guys like Mike While hitting Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall. But then the THRID teams comes out and THEY'RE loaded with talent too! Streveler hitting Mims and Berrios. Plus there's names of WRs DBs RBs I've never heard of before having great camps of their own! Basically the entire day whether it's our starters or backups of bubble boys, so much talent and so much fun to watch the entire practice. My last comment is throughout the entire NFL there MAY be at most 5 top true franchise QBs and we seem to have 4 of them on the team!
Jets are going to be in cap trouble if they keep giving 2 year/$12M contracts to 3rd stringers like Berrios. Sorry, couldn't find the sarcasterisk* on my keyboard
A very positive Connor Hughes article about what he learned from the two joint practices. 50 years of being a Jet fan tells me wait to see something on Sundays before getting excited but it is another reason to believe that the Jets talent level has improved. https://sny.tv/articles/jets-joint-practices-with-falcons-proof-they-re-headed-in-right-direction
