What sucks is the 2023 draft isn’t exactly loaded with blue chip tackles. I like Sauce but we missed our chance last draft passing on Ekwongu/Neal
Anything Saleh has ever said about Becton's knee has always been irrelevant - that should have been obvious long ago, he's saying nothing other than what he wants people to hear. Anything said by anyone here has also been irrelevant, it's merely uninformed opinion. Until an independent physician who has actually examined and tested Becton can speak freely everything we see or hear from those claiming to know what is going on is irrelevant. Generalities mean nothing.
Still a lot of talent in this offense, it’s not ideal but not the end of the world either. My biggest concern now is fant bucking at the idea of moving back to RT if we sign brown. Fant wants to be and be paid like a LT.
Jets X factor offers some options to replace Becton. https://jetsxfactor.com/2022/08/09/ny-jets-options-replace-mekhi-becton/
Makes Duane Brown less appealing as it sounds like he's never even started at RT. I don't like the idea of Fant moving to RT either.
well yeah none of us are doctors who have examined his knee, but I think there’s enough relevant info out there already to know he’ll miss significant time, and based on his past history recovering from knee injury, I also think it’s a safe bet that he’ll miss half the season if not the entire season, no? Sure, we’re all speculating, but chances are it’ll be significant and potentially season ending. We already know he hasn’t been the most diligent rehab guy out there. we’ve seen this movie before….
